CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
As soon as the children arrive at NLC, they are greeted by warm and welcoming teachers. These teachers have prepared interesting and exciting lessons with their students in mind. The classrooms are thematic, including a theatre room, an arts and crafts studio, a game room, and even a café with a retro theme. Even the smallest members have their own themed room which features the love of Jesus. Our students are eager to return every Sunday morning because they know they are welcomed and loved in our Church.
YOUTH MINISTRY
As a Church, we are prepared to welcome a wide range of ages as children begin their journey to adulthood. Starting at age 12, we have programs that will help them to develop into the young Christians that they desire to be. From 12 to 18, we have classes, activities, and events to keep them on the right path as they follow their hearts to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We have seen great success through the years as many of our former students have now become young adults, serving in positions within our Church.
HYPHEN
The word “hyphen” of course means a “pause in time”. As our young adults complete high school, there is a time in their life when they must pause and take a look at the next steps they must take to be successful in their adult life. We have counselors, classes, and advisors that truly care what happens next in each of their lives. They know that they can count on our staff to help them make some truly important decisions in their lives.
IGNITE
We have some great talent in our Church. Feeling a burden to share their talent, they started a class to share their musical talent and knowledge to others in the Church. Because of their burden, we now have several participants learning many different musical instruments. We now are able to offer a children’s and youth band practice and also an adult band practice. If you have a desire to start learning how to play a musical instrument, we welcome you to come and find out more about this great ministry.
LADIES’ MINISTRY
The purpose and goal of this ministry is to completely serve the church and our community. Whether it be a meal for a family with a newborn baby, a meal for a bereaved family, a basket of food for a family in need, we are here to do what we can to meet the needs of those around us. More importantly, we have ladies who can pray for you, guide you, and give you an encouraging word to help you on your quest for a closer walk with our Savior Jesus Christ.
MENS’ MINISTRY
A strong church must have a strong base of men filled with wisdom and with the knowledge of the Word of God. The men of NLC can offer to you spirit filled guidance for your own personal lives. They also can offer you counsel from the Word of God on how to become closer to Him. We have strong Bible study teachers who are willing to help you understand the Scriptures of the Bible more clearly. At NLC, you will find men of faith and filled with the wisdom of God.
